Andy Tufano is the President of Goldstar Training, which develops professional security officer standards, and trains and assesses security personnel. Tufano is a recognized subject matter expert (SME) in conflict resolution and private person use-of-force. He is a prolific writer and has been a featured speaker at IAHSS and ASIS meetings. He is the author of "Conflict Management for Security Professionals" (2013, Butterworth-Heinemann). He holds a Master’s degree in Communication from California State University at Fullerton. Besides his responsibilities with Goldstar, he is an experienced college communications educator and currently teaches at a public Southern California college.
